While lockdown may be slowly easing, the chance of an in-person mass gathering isn’t likely any time soon, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get all the feels of a festival, wellbeing support and hear from some truly inspirational people from your living room!

Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Festival is now live, virtually, and there’s some amazing events, activities and workshops taking place over the next week.

Here’s just a snapshot of what you can expect….

Big talks and big topics

Over the next seven days, Professor Green, Kimberley Wilson, Elizabeth Day and Amanda De Cadanet will join Fearne in The Talk Lounge, brought to the festival by Synctuition. Topics will range from resilience, to overcoming trauma, building better brains, learning from failure and everything in between.

Moving for mood and mind

On The Main Stage, brought to you by Aveeno, Alice Liveing will be working out our core, Krissy Cela will help us stay physically and mentally motivated during these strange times and The Body Camp’s Rick Parcell will be heading back to the 1980’s. Dig out those leggings and leotards!

Meditation and moments of stillness

Make sure to head to the Meditation Mountain, brought to the festival by Pukka Herbs. This week you’ll be able to join a guided meditation by Sebastain Pole to awaken your senses, let go and enter a deep meditative state guided by Goldierocks and find out more about Ayurveda with Jo Webber, the Head of Herbal Education at wonderful Pukka Herbs.

And that’s just a small taste of what’s happening in week one! The Happy Place Festival will run until 12 July and has an amazing programme throughout the whole month.

While access to the festival is completely free, festival goers are welcome to make a voluntary donation to a number of charities, including Mind, CoppaFeel! And NHS Charities Together – should they want to.
