A Perfect Morning Routine #SHORTS

Videos
Here’s how to start your day off to the perfect morning. First, avoid impulsively checking your phone. This starts you off in a state of reactivity versus proactivity.

Second, build momentum with a small productive win for the day. Make your bed and put away any clothes rather than leaving them on the floor.

Third, you’re dehydrated after sleeping, so make sure you drink plenty of water. Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day, and eating is optional. If you do eat, have a balanced meal rather than one loaded with sugar.

Fourth, getting your body moving feels amazing after being mostly immobile overnight. I do a 10 minute stretching routine, but walking, yoga, or a full on workout are great options.

And finally, practice some mindfulness or reflection. Meditation, journaling, or setting the three goals for the day can make a massive shift in the trajectory of your day.
