How To Actually Keep Your New Year’s Resolutions #SHORTS

Videos
New year, new you. Here’s how to actually keep your resolutions this year. First, make sure they are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-specific. The more clear you are with what you’re trying to accomplish, the easier it will be to figure out the steps you need to take to get there.

Next, don’t bite off more than you can chew. Instead of trying to accomplish some monumental goal, break it down into smaller goals that you are certain you can achieve.

As you accomplish these smaller goals, you will build confidence, which will help carry you through to the next goal.

Next, don’t rely on motivation. Focus on building systems instead.

Get your environment to work with you. Make it easy to make good choices and hard to make bad choices.

Set reminders to keep your goals in the front of your mind.

Find an accountability buddy to help keep you on track.

And lastly, don’t dwell on the setbacks. Nobody will adhere to their New Year’s Resolution 100%. If you mess up, pick back up immediately, and keep going.
