How to CAFFEINATE Properly #SHORTS

Videos
Caffeine is the world’s most used psychoactive drug and, like most drugs, it’s subject to the effects of tolerance. Here’s how to get the benefits of consuming caffeine without all of the downsides.

The first approach is to use caffeine sparingly. This is what I prefer as it prevents caffeine tolerance from developing in the first place. I only use caffeine in situations where I truly need it – which is quite infrequent.

The second approach is to cycle your caffeine intake. If you enjoy your daily coffee or energy drink, try having brief periods of time where you reduce your caffeine consumption. Giving your body a break allows the receptor changes in the brain to reset to their normal levels.

If you’ve already built up a tolerance, the only way to undo it is to cut back on your consumption. You can do this either by quitting cold turkey or tapering your caffeine intake.

Regardless of the approach you choose, don’t jump back to the increased levels you were using previously when you start consuming caffeine again. Start slow. Smaller doses will pack more of a punch than they did previously.
