Here in Part 2, I go over timing and scheduling your MCAT studying.
-Take the MCAT during summer between 2nd and 3rd or 3rd and 4th year preferably.
-Sign up for MCAT question of the day emails. There’s a few sources including Kaplan, Examkrackers, Next Step, and MCATquestion.com.
-Use Anki every day and make your own cards
-Start content review 2.5 months out.
-Be sure to include both catch-up days and break days or break blocks to prevent burn-out.
-Save your AAMC practice tests for the end. Start out with Princeton Review, Kaplan, or other test prep company practice tests.
-Ramp up to 2 AAMC practice tests per week during your last 4 weeks leading up to the exam
-Do not take any practice tests in the preceding 2 days of your MCAT. You want to be mentally fresh above all else! Learn how to make the most of test day here: https://youtu.be/S0bZjGlAsjc
