Pomodoro Technique – Best Productivity Hack #SHORTS

Videos
Use the pomodoro technique to fight procrastination, improve your focus, and sustainably work for hours at a time.

First, decide on what single task you will be focusing on during your first pomodoro, or 25 minute work block.

Next, set your timer for 25 minutes and solely focus on that one task. Ruthlessly eliminate all other distractions from tech, people, and animals. This is key, and missing this step entirely defeats the purpose.

When the timer goes off, it’s break time. Set another timer for 5 minutes and move about! Don’t just sit at your desk and scroll on your phone. Use the bathroom, refill your water, and do a few pull ups or push ups if you’d like.

After your 5 minute break, set another 25 minute timer and focus on another singular task.

Repeat as needed. It’s recommended that after 4 pomodoro’s you take a longer 20 minute break to maximize endurance.

And rather than setting timers manually, you can choose from dozens of phone and computer apps to automate the process for you. For more details, check out my full pomodoro technique video.
