The One Hack to Improve Mental Performance #SHORTS

Videos
We all know that exercise is important for our health, so why do so many of us struggle to do it regularly? The reason is that we focus too heavily on the long-term health benefits of exercise, like weight loss and improved health, instead of the short-term ones. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins which improve your mood and help reduce stress.

Aerobic exercise has also been shown to acutely enhance cognitive function, particularly executive function, and memory. If you need a quick boost to your studying, try exercising first.

As humans, we prefer instant gratification over delayed gratification. We prioritize things that make us feel good in the moment over things that feel uncomfortable, even if they might not be good for us in the long term.

The great thing about exercise is that you don’t have to compromise. You can enjoy the short-term benefits as well as the long-term ones, it just requires shifting your mindset.

If you’re looking to pick up one new habit that will give you the most “bang for your buck” in many different aspects of your life, exercise is a great place to start.
